Crowdsourcing #Edtech Advice for New Teachers
Thursday, May 21, 201511:27 AMI have the pleasure of working with pre-service teachers at Manhattanville College this week for a technology training. We are exploring GAFE, online formative assessment, web 2.0 tools, Twitter, etc. Our foundation, though, will come from a discussion of #edtech philosophy and purpose.
To help, I decided to show the power of connected educators by crowdsourcing advice for these teachers. I've curated the responses below to share with these new teachers and thought others might be interested. I'll continue to update throughout the day.
Do you have advice or insight to share? Tweet at us using #MVilleJump.
Specifically, we're looking for SMART Board activities and resources and simulations for secondary chemistry. Any takers?
What #edtech advice would you give to new teachers? I'm crowdsourcing for a training this week! #edtechchat #tntechchat #gafechat #edchat

@MrSchoenbart Try. You may fail, but try. If you don't try, you are not modeling real world behavior for your students. #edtechchat
