The Education Leaders Technology Survey (ELTS)
The Education Leaders Technology Survey (ELTS) is intended to assess education leaders’ technology leadership behaviors and activities over the course of the last school year. ELTS questions are based on the 2018 International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards for Education Leaders. This survey tool was developed though doctoral research, resulting in the doctoral dissertation titled, Principals’ Perceptions of Their Technology Leadership & Behaviors: A Mixed Methods Study. The study can be found on ProQuest or by e-mailing its author at aschoenbart@gmail.com.
The ELTS is available to K-12 school organizations, educational leadership programs, and education researchers for free. To use or adapt the ELTS, please contact aschoenbart@gmail.com with information about your project. I ask that all research data, including but not limited to updated survey tools and publications based on the ELTS, be shared to help continue building this important body of research. For this and all other inquiries, please e-mail aschoenbart@gmail.com.
